We build homes not houses

— Serving our tenants needs, whilst reducing tenancy risk for investors

We work with selected Supported Independent Living (SIL) providers with deep expertise in provision of care for people living with disability.

We partner with these organisations that require additional housing for their clients.

We look for the following characteristics in a partnership

  • We seek to work with SIL providers who have extensive experience in the provision of care

  • Who operate on a large scale

  • Whose clients are either living in inappropriate housing or who do not currently have access to appropriate housing

  • Who have a deep understanding of participant needs.

  • Deep understanding of participants’ accommodation requirements.

  • Immediate requirement for additional or more appropriate housing

Approach to working

Our work focuses on a SIL and Participant-Centred Model.

The stakeholders in this process consist of the SDA provider (the developer and operator), the SILs (the carer and originator of resident supply) and most importantly the residents who will occupy the properties.

The residents are introduced to the SDA provider by the SILs or through other tenancy matching arrangements.

Outcomes Framework

In development

Positive social outcomes for residents and their families is at the core of our work and investment strategy.

We’re not just a social impact investment fund, we also strive to influence the disability housing system.

Working with SVA, we are supporting the development of a rigorous outcomes measurement framework for the Fund that we hope will become an industry wide social outcomes framework for disability housing in Australia.

We understand that a strong disability housing system, makes for a stronger economy and community.
